Privacy Policy
Who controls your information
Blobb Eco Technologies Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Blobb is incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, and based in Comox. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to legal@blobb.ca.
Information collected
The contact form collects your name, work email, and message. Blobb also receives the information you choose to provide when booking a call or sending email. The site does not use advertising trackers.
Purpose and lawful basis
Blobb uses this information to answer your enquiry, assess a possible engagement, schedule a conversation, maintain a record of business correspondence, and meet legal obligations. Under the GDPR, the lawful bases are steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and managing client relationships, and legal obligation where applicable. Consent is not used as the basis for marketing, and this form is not a marketing subscription.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months after the last substantive contact unless an engagement begins, a legal obligation requires longer retention, or you request deletion and no exception applies. Engagement records are governed by the applicable agreement and legal retention duties. Counsel must confirm these periods before launch.
Service providers and international transfer
Amazon Web Services processes contact form submissions using AWS Lambda and Amazon SNS in the AWS Region where the site infrastructure is deployed, then delivers the submission to Blobb at hello@blobb.ca. The Calendly scheduling provider processes booking information. Email and hosting providers may also process technical or message data. These providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Their locations, safeguards, and contract terms must be confirmed before launch. No personal information is sold.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA where applicable, you may request access to and correction of personal information, withdraw consent where consent applies, and challenge compliance. Under the GDPR, where it applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and you may complain to a supervisory authority. Rights can be limited by law and by the basis for processing.
To exercise a right, email legal@blobb.ca and describe the request. Blobb may need to verify your identity before responding.
